The Norwegian Red List contains 216 species of mosses (162 mosses and 54 liverworts). 4 species are considered to be extinct (Ex), 65 to be endangered (E), 28 to be vulnerable (V), and 119 species are regarded as declining (7 are care demanding species, DC, and 112 are monitor species, DM).
