Abstract

Conium maculatum in Hedmark county, Eastern Norway

Conium maculatum L. is at present only known from 3 localities in Norway. The authors describe the locality at Kvæka, Vang, Hedmark county, near an abandoned corn mill. The plant presumably arrived here in the 1920s-1930s in connection with import of grain from the Soviet Union. The population numbered ca 100 individuals in 1997.
