Rare casual plant species at waste dumps at Sollistrand, Horten, Borre municipality, Vestfold county, SE Norway.

Several rare casuals are reported from ruderal ground during summer and autumn 1997 at Sollistrand, Horten in Vestfold county. One of the taxa, Atriplex hortensis ssp. nitens, has not been reported in Norway since 1908. The last records of Polypogon monspeliensis, Cicer arietinum and Fagopyrum tataricum were made 1927,1950 and 1971 respectively. Most of the alien plants from the ruderal ground in Sollistrand seem to grow from birdseed, old garden waste or maybe old ballast soil.
