Abstract: 2 tables. 4 figures. [Spores are discharged all year but infrequently in summer, and the discharge was correlated with rainfall. Laboratory studies looked at effects of relative humidity, distance of discharge, and effects of temperature. Germination was best at temperatures from 10-20 degrees C and pH range 5-7. "More than 90% of ascospores incubated on water agar at 15 degrees C germinated within 3 da."]
