Abstract: ["The analysis of a and b chlorophylls, β-carotene, and xanthophylls in the cells of green algae-photobionts from genera Asterochloris, Myrmecia, Trebouxia and Trentepohlia had shown the heterogeneity of their pigment content both on generic and specific levels. For genera Trebouxia and Myrmecia pigment content was identified for the first time. It was revealed that quantity and ratio of pigments in the species of genus Trebouxia belonging to different morpho-ecological groups are unequal."
