Salisbury, G. 1966: A monograph of the lichen genus Thelocarpon Nyl.. - The Lichenologist 3(2): 175-196. [RLL List # 274 / Rec.# 44476]
Abstract: This monograph is a revision of previous papers on Thelocarpon by Salisbury (in Northw. Nat., N.S. 1: 66-76 (1953)) and Magnusson (in Rabenh., Kryptog.- Flora Deutschl. 9, Abt. 5 (1): 286-318 (1935)) and includes a survey of additional data on European and extra-European material previously related to the genus. Of the additional species studied by me, only one, T. coccosporum Lett., belongs to Thelocarpon; the remainder are either synonyms of species already described or belong to other genera. With this single addition the number of species in the genus is now thirteen.
