Abstract: [Discussion of ascocarp organization and evolutionary lines within the Aspiciliaceae. It is proposed that the Aspicilia radiosa group be transferred into a separate genus, Lobothallia. New: Lobothallia (Clauzade & Roux) stat. nov., L. alphoplaca (Wahlenb. in Ach.) comb. nov., L. melanaspis (Ach.) comb. nov., L. praeradiosa (Nyl.) comb. nov., L. radiosa (Hoffm.) comb. nov.]
