Abstract: 1 figure. [Parmelia sulcata and Hypogymnia enteromorpha from San Diego County, California, were subjected to 12 hour ozone fumigations at three different concentrations. Significant reduction in gross photosynthesis was documented. P. sulcata was more sensitive to the treatments than was H. enteromorpha, "... a fact consistent with field observations in southern California where extensive ozone injury occurs."]
