Sphaerophorus dodgei Ohlsson is validated and described; the species is widespread and common in the Valdivian rainforest of Chile and Argentina. New to mainland Africa: S. diplotypus. New to the North and South Islands of New Zealand: S. imshaugii. New to South America: S. macrocarpus. New: S. tibellii sp. nov, from New Zealand.]
