Abstract: 2 tab. 1 map [Includes an introduction, a detailed review of lichenological activity in China, and enumerates 1, 766 species and many subspecific taxa in 232 genera. Many synonyms are given, and all taxa based on Chinese collections are provided with complete bibliographic citations, type localities, and the present location of the type specimen if known. Substrate information is given for most taxa.
