Abstract: 3 fig. ["Parmeliella plumbea is reported from Hamnes in Balsfjord in the county of Troms. It is a rare species, previously not known between southern Finnmark and southern Troms. In Fennoscandia this is a suboceanic species. Suboceanic species like the bryophyte Plagiothecium undulatum have their coastal distribution pattern continued northwards to Troms and Finnmark. Parmeliella plumbea, however, has its distribution pattern shifted towards the interior, probably reflecting its relatively high temperature demand, combined with a higher air humidity in northern interior parts as compared with areas further to the south. Lichens like Pannaria conoplea, P. rubiginosa and Lobaria amplissima seem to share the distribution pattern of Parmeliella plumbea." Summary and title translation provided by Arve Elvebakk.]
