Abstract: [Study using ITS and nuLSU sequence data. New world taxa, Niebla ceruchis, N. laevigata, N. combeoides, N. robusta, N. procera and N. homalea, form a basal clade. Old World specimens belong to Ramalina (R. bourgeana, R. crispatula, R. cupularis, R. hamulosa, R. portosantana, R. rosacea, R. subwebbiana and R. webbii).
