Abstract: Ten species of Allocetraria are reported from China, including the new species Allocetraria corrugata, which is characterized by strongly rugose upper and lower lobe surfaces. A phylogenetic analysis based on nrDNA ITS sequences supports the independence of the new taxon. Diagnostic characters and distribution of the Allocetraria species occurring in China are given, and a key to the identification of the species is provided.
