Matzer, M./ Hafellner, J. 1990: Eine Revision der lichenicolen Arten der Sammelgattung Rosellinia (Ascomycetes). - Bibliotheca Lichenologica 37: 1-138. [RLL List # 256 / Rec.# 40772]
Abstract: The lichenicolous species traditionally classified in Rosellinia and Adelooccus are revised and a new taxonomic arrangement is proposed. None of the taxa studied is congeneric with Rosellinia aquila, the type species of Rosellinia (Xylariales). The following genera are accepted: Adelococcus, Roselliniella, Reconditella gen. nov., Roselliniomyces gen. nov. and Roselliniopsis gen. nov. Adelococcus is regarded to belong to Verrucariales, the other treated genera are best classified in Sordariales. The species Reconditella physconiarum, Roselliniella atlantica, R. epiphylla, R. eriodermicola, R. heterodeae, R. oxyspora, R. pannariae, Roselliniomyces trichotheliorum and Roselliniopsis tropica are described as new and the following new combinations are proposed: Ade1ococcus interlatens, Roselliniella cladoniae, R. coccocarpiae, R. nephromatis, Roselliniopsis groedensis, Stigmidium pumilum and Ochrolechia lactea. Keys for the treated genera and species are given as well as illustrations for all accepted species. Adelococcus lecanorae is not a species of the genera treated. Its relationship is not yet clear. Rosellinia steineriana belongs to Sphinctrina. The generic position of Synaptospora tartaricola is uncertain. Stigmidium pumilum seems to be restricted to Physcia. On the same host genus Muellerella triseptata has been found twice.

Notes: In German with English summary. New: Ochrolechia lactea (L.)
