Abstract: The new genus Leucocarpia described in this study is taxonomically connected most closely with the genus Polyblastia Massal. (Family Verrucariaceae) and differs from this one as from other genera of the Verrucariaceae because of its excipulum entirely light. Type-species and the only one species: L. biatorella (Arnold) Vezda. 1 fig. [New: Leucocarpia gen. nov., L. biatorella (Arn.) comb. nov.]
