Abstract: Gyalideopsis modesta (from Steiermark in Austria) and G. aterrima (from Venezuela) are described as new species. Both are colonists on fresh surfaces of schists. A key to all known species of the genus is given. [New: Gyalideopsis modesta sp. nov., G. aterrima sp. nov.]
