Usnea subfloridana recorded as new to Finnmark County, N Norway

Usnea subfloridana is reported as new to Finnmark County, North Norway. It was recorded on the stem of Salix myrsinifolia ssp. borealis at 70°30' N, 29°48' E (Båtsfjord Municipality). Based on own records and literature reports, the distribution of the species in northern Fennoscandia is mapped, and the distribution of other Usnea species is discussed. The locality reported here is the northernmost locality of the genus in Fennoscandia.
